Intensive Driving Courses
Intensive driving courses are the best, and most cost effective, way to learn to drive. In fact, this is what most people ask for but our intensive driving courses are best suited for drivers with existing limited driving skills, driving experience and confidence.
- 10-hour intensive course This intensive driving course is suitable for those who have recently failed a practical driving test or for people who are nearing test standard. This driving crash course is normally spread over 3 or 4 days prior to the practical test.
- 20-hour intensive course The 20-hour intensive driving course is recommended for people who have had some driving experience and have mastered the basic driving skills required, and just need to polish up their driving skills and general driving confidence.
- 30-hour intensive course This intensive driving course is recommended for confident drivers who have the basic driving skills but who have very little driving experience. It covers mainly people in the age group from 17 to 23.
- 40-hour intensive course This intensive driving course is designed for the complete beginner learner drivers. Through this course, most pupils will obtain a high level of driving skills and will meet the requirements for their practical driving test. The driving lessons included in this course covers the whole DSA syllabus.
Which Intensive Course Do I Need?
The question of which intensive driving course you need will depend on your motivation and your natural ability to pick up driving skills, as well as whether you can receive any additional private driving practice with a friend or member of the family.
Therefore, the above mentioned number of driving lesson hours is only a guide and not a guarantee that you will be ready for the practical driving test at the completion of the intensive course.
Rest assured however that our experienced DSA approved driving instructors will provide you with such good quality driving tuition that you will progress as quickly and as safely as possible through the intensive driving course of your choice.
At Driving Lessons Booking Service (DLBS), we recommend that the best way of learning to drive is through 1.5 to 4 hours of driver training per week. This has proved to be the most successful, and cost effective, way for pupils wanting to get their driving licence by passing the practical test first time.
